I hereby apply for Membership in the MetroTex Association of REALTORS®, Inc., North Texas Real Estate Information Network Inc. (MLS), and or MetroTex Key Services, Inc.

I understand that my dues and the application fee are nonrefundable. If I am applying as a REALTOR® member, I agree to attend Orientation and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Code of Ethics training within 60 days of my application for REALTOR® membership. Failure to meet these requirements may result in having my membership inactivated and my services discontinued until I complete the new member orientation course.  

I agree to thoroughly familiarize myself with and abide by the MetroTex Association of REALTORS®, Texas Association of REALTORS®, and National Association of REALTORS® Bylaws, the MetroTex Association of REALTORS Policy Manual, and the NAR Constitution. I will abide by the Code of Ethics and Arbitration Manual as from time to time amended, revised, supplemented or altered, including the obligation to arbitrate any dispute or controversy arising between me and one or more members in accordance with the rules and regulations governing such arbitration, from time to time in effect. I understand I have access to a copy of the MetroTex Association of REALTORS®, Texas Association of REALTORS®, and National Association of REALTORS® Bylaws, the FHAAR Policy Manual, and the NAR Constitution and Code of Ethics. I understand that I will be required to complete periodic Code of Ethics trainings as specified in the association’s bylaws as a continued condition of membership. I authorize MetroTex and any of its representatives to verify the information I have provided herein.

I hereby certify that the information furnished by me is true and correct, and I agree that failure to provide complete and accurate information as requested, or any misstatement of fact, shall be grounds for revocation of my membership, if granted. I further agree that, if accepted for membership in the MetroTex Association of REALTORS, Inc., I shall pay the fees and dues as from time to time established. Membership is based on the term of a calendar year. Payments to the MetroTex Association of REALTORS® including TREPAC contributions are NON-REFUNDABLE and not deductible as charitable contributions. Such payments may, however, be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense.

I hereby acknowledge that MetroTex Association of REALTORS®, Texas Association of REALTORS®, and National Association of REALTORS® are authorized to distribute a member’s name, company name, business address, company phone and FAX number on their respective websites. (No personal information is published). I also agree to keep my membership information up to date including, but not limited to, email address, cell phone number, residence and business address.

I hereby consent that the MetroTex Association of REALTORS®, Texas REALTORS®, the National Association of REALTORS®, MetroTex MLS, and their subsidiaries, if any, may contact me at the specified address, telephone numbers, fax numbers, email address or other means of communication available. This consent applies to changes in contact information that may be provided to me by the Association(s) in the future.

NOTE: Under federal tax law, when you claim your REALTOR® membership dues as a business expense, you must exclude the percentage used by the association for lobbying expenses to influence State and Federal legislation. Texas REALTORS® Political Action Committee (TREPAC) contributions are voluntary and may not be deducted.
